Senior SharePoint Developer
Teacup Tech Systems is looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer for our Fredericton Location
Demonstrated competency in effective interactive communication and presentation skills, specifically in collaborating with senior level stakeholders and presentation of highly complex systems.
Demonstrated competency in requirements elicitation, requirements prioritization.
Demonstrated competency with SharePoint 2013 security best practices.
Demonstrated experience in developing operational procedures, standards and/or policy to achieve the identified technical outcomes.
Demonstrated experience within a team environment where the candidate was called on to perform tasks in a mixture of collaborative and autonomous modes.
Demonstrated experience with SharePoint 2013 with a working knowledge of PowerShell, web content management, managed meta-data, search, and user profile services.
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing SharePoint 2010 Workflows.
Demonstrated experience in a technical role responsible for analyzing a problem, coming up with alternative solutions, selecting a proposed solution, and breaking it down into workable tasks.
Demonstrated experience with administering high availability SharePoint and/or SQL Server Environments is considered an asset.
Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following: SharePoint online, SharePoint 2016, and/or 2019. Demonstrated experience in SharePoint 2019 is considered an asset.
Deliverables:
- Work with the various site owners to review permissions and remove as much of the broken inheritance as possible and move to a security model where we are using the three out of the box SharePoint groups, Visitors, Members and Owners.
- Update the list of site owners with the most up to date information.
- Validate with site owners and archive or delete any sites that are no longer in use or relevant
- Ensure that security requirements in SharePoint on premises sites are being met for ongoing support and meet SharePoint online migration requirements and best practices.
- Complete all assigned SharePoint security tasks.
- Support ongoing security and performance improvements of the SharePoint platform when required.
- Support and contribute to best practices adopted by the SharePoint team.
- Deliver SharePoint solutions (systems analysis, design, development, and implementation) as directed by the Manager of Solution Services.
- Create and maintain technical designs.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
